2002-2014 Subaru WRX
When you’re upgrading your turbo Subaru EJ‑series engine (WRX, STI, LGT, FXT), the valvetrain must keep up with increased lift, higher revs and boosted conditions. The Manley Performance Valve Spring & Retainer Kit (Part 26180) is built to deliver that reliability.
Each kit features high‑tensile chrome‑silicon alloy single‑conical springs combined with aerospace‑grade titanium CNC‑machined retainers. The springs are optimized to maintain proper pressure, resist fatigue and deliver precise valve control even under aggressive camshafts or high RPMs. Retainers are manufactured to extremely tight tolerances, supporting reliable, repeatable performance.

Why Choose This Kit?
Upgrading your springs and retainers is a foundational step when optimizing for track, high‑rev or boosted performance. This Manley kit ensures your valvetrain remains tightly controlled, prevents valve float or bounce, and offers the durability needed for sustained high‑performance operation. It’s especially recommended if you’ve increased lift, modified heads or are pushing the rev limit.
Fitment & Installation Notes
-
Recommend full engine disassembly for installation: removal of camshafts, valve covers and proper spring tools required
-
After installation, verify valve clearances, spring seat pressures and retainer seating
-
Ideal for builds where reliability during high RPM, aggressive valve motion or boost conditions is critical
